Counselors Associates Ltd. is an organization consisting of an exemplary group of licensed, experienced counseling professionals offering mental health services to children, adolescents and adults in individual, couple, family and group settings. Our goal is to assist people who are experiencing emotional or behavioral concerns and are interested in self-exploration and personal growth.

Founder & CEO - Kristin Kneedler (She/her/hers), MS, LCPC, NCC

Kristin specializes in the treatment of Healthcare Professionals, First Responders, as well as Trauma and PTSD.

COO and CIO - Mark Voegele Jr. (He/him)

Mark has more than 20 years of technology leadership experience and a proven track record of building and leading operations teams and operations software teams to deliver on organization goal achievement.

Jaime is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a specialist certification as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist, and has worked in pediatric primary care. Jaime enjoys working with children of all ages, and specializes in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and depression.
Prescriber - Janae M. Korte, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Janae is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She works with patients across the lifespan. She diagnoses and treats patients with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and mood disorders such as bipolar disorder.
Prescriber - Ki Ristia Allen-Lampe, MSN, FPA, NP-C
Ki Ristia brings a diverse background through her years of practicing comprehensive family medicine across the lifespan. This broad foundation in family medicine allows her to understand the intricate connections between physical health and mental well-being, offering a comprehensive approach to mental health that considers the whole person.

Troy North Clinical Director - Karagan Romoser (She/her), MSW, LCSW
Karagan uses an integrated therapeutic approach applying Client-Centered, Dialectical Behavioral, and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. Karagan strives to empower her clients by having a non-judgmental attitude and meeting clients where they are.

TJ is a seasoned clinician with nearly 10 years of clinical experience working with diverse presenting concerns and populations.

Cassadi’s vision is for kids, adolescents, and teens to feel heard, supported, and comfortable in therapy to reach their full potential. She understands that each therapy experience is unique and different for each person.

Nathan realizes each patient seeking care has a unique life experience, therefore he works to adapt his therapy approach to the client’s needs.
McKenna Jarman, MS, LPC
McKenna views counseling as a holistic way to learn about oneself that is collaborative with the client. She works within a safe and fun environment for children and their parents to learn and grow.

Abby aims to cultivate a safe, inclusive, nonjudgmental, and trusting environment for all clients to feel heard. While she implements a wide range of therapeutic strategies, she prioritizes a mutually collaborative, culturally responsive approach grounded in a trauma-informed lens.

Katelyn applies a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Taking an eclectic approach, JaiLin utilizes various treatments such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Feminist Therapy to help her clients.

Mariah is a Licensed Clinician and Registered Expressive Arts Therapist. Mariah’s focus in the therapeutic space is to provide a comfortable environment to grow and explore together through visual art, movement, music, writing, drama, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, or traditional talk therapy.
Amanda McMurray, MSW, LSW, RYT-200
Amanda creates a safe, non-judgmental environment where every individual is respected and heard, regardless of their background or life experiences. She uses a blend of Client-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, focusing on problem-solving skills to help clients identify areas in their lives they may seek change in and develop action steps toward those changes.

With her educational background in studying the Latinx population, Chavionne has found passion in multiculturalism including oppression, discrimination, and inclusivity.
Taelor Wise, MA, LPC
Taelor has experience with adolescents and adults, assisting with anxiety, self- worth, and life changes. She believes in using an integrative approach unique to each individual.
Brandy Morris, BA, MS, Graduate Student Intern
As a MFT graduate intern Brandy is in training and treats a variety of issues such as family concerns, marital problems, gender and LGBTQ identity, and emotional and mental health disorders.
Tori Renovitch, BA, CTRI, Graduate Student Intern
Tori believes the purpose of counseling is to help people find balance and stability in their life before, during, and after stressful situations. Finding new coping skills through creative and intuitive thinking is one of her many strengths.

Cristina Lanahan (She/her), Senior Office Manager - Troy North

With 20 years of customer service experience, Cristina is the initial point-of-contact for Counselors Associates Ltd. and facilitates appointment scheduling. She works collaboratively with each therapist to understand their strengths, which allows her to meet clients’ unique needs and pair them with the best therapist.

Melissa Tinsman (She/her), Marketing Coordinator - Troy North

After 4+ years of being the initial client contact for the Shiloh & Maryville offices, Melissa is now the Marketing Coordinator for Counselors Associates Ltd. She continues to help others by using her 20+ years of combined sales and customer service experience to promote mental health awareness and connect with the community.

 

Sara Van Fossen (She/her), Licensure and Billing Manager - Troy North

She brings over 11 years of valuable customer service experience to Counselors Associates Ltd.  She manages licensure, billing, and collections with adept organizational skills.  She also fields questions regarding billing, insurance, payments, and claims.

 

Kristina Kutz (She/her), Office Manager- Shiloh

Kristina is the initial point-of-contact for the Shiloh office.  She facilitates appointment scheduling and works collaboratively with the front office team and therapists to provide the best possible customer service to our clients.

GiGi Antonas (She/her), Office Manager - Creve Coeur

With over 17 years of customer service experience, GiGi is the initial point-of-contact for the Creve Coeur office.  She facilitates appointment scheduling and works collaboratively with the front office team and therapists to provide the best possible customer service to our clients.  

Allyson Reckert (She/her), Office Manager - Troy South

Allyson is the initial point of contact for the Troy South office.  She facilitates appointment scheduling and works collaboratively with the front office team and therapists to provide the best possible customer service to our patients. 

Rachel Reed (She/her), Office Manager - Maryville

Rachel is the initial point of the contact for the Maryville office. She works collaboratively with the front office team, billing team, and clinical team ensuring there is a welcoming atmosphere. Rachel is committed to helping individuals on their journey to personal growth and well-being.

Chessa Ephron, Office Manager - Troy North

Chessa is the initial point of the contact for the Troy North office.  She facilitates appointment scheduling and works collaboratively with the front office staff, billing department, and clinical team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Stacey Johnson (She/her), Billing and Collections Coordinator Level I - Troy North

Stacey brings over 20 years of customer service experience to Counselors Associates Ltd.  She verifies insurance and payment info, handles customer inquiries, and insurance claims.

Katelyn Voegele (She/her), Billing and Collections Assistant - Troy North

Katelyn assists with tracking expirations and renewals of licensure. Additionally, she brings newly learned techniques to organize the company documents and records.  She also assists with Billing tasks and management.
