Tasha Shannon (She/her), MA, MS, LCPC
Tasha brings to Counselors Associates Ltd. a background in community mental health. She instills hope in her clients by motivating them to discover their personal strengths and find purpose in their lives. She understands that we are all human and experience different emotional changes throughout our lifetimes. Tasha recognizes it’s often too difficult for people to address these concerns with family members or friends, so she provides an unbiased, impartial and caring approach to allow clients to work through their concerns and meet their goals.
Tasha applies a variety of therapeutic techniques to her practice, including Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Counseling and Solution-Focused Therapy. She sees children, adolescents and young adults and specializes in Crisis Intervention, Depression and Social Skills.
