Jaime is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a Pediatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified, and has worked in pediatric primary care.

Jaime has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the Creating Opportunities Through Empowerment program (COPE). Jaime also has a master’s degree in Health Studies/Health Promotion which she uses to understand and promote motivation for change when working with clients.

Jaime enjoys working with children of all ages and specializes in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and depression.

Jaime’s role here at Counselors Associates is unique and allows us to offer comprehensive pediatric mental health services. While therapy is the mainstay of returning to and maintaining strong mental health, medication may also be part of the treatment process. As a dual certified nurse practitioner, Jaime can prescribe and manage medications while also coordinating care with our therapists or outside therapists to ensure good functioning and health. Jaime enjoys working with children and teens of all ages and specializes in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and depression.
