Individual Therapy

Within the individual therapy session, a variety of techniques is used to address the individual concern(s). One technique is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This hands-on, practical approach to problem solving is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment. The goal with CBT is to change patterns of thinking and/or behaviors that are behind people’s difficulties. This form of therapy focuses on solutions, encouraging the individual to change patterns of behavior. Art therapy and play therapy are among the other techniques integrated within sessions.
