Holly Scheuchner is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) in Kentucky. She has worked in the mental health field since 2012 and has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. Holly also has experience providing counseling for a variety of concerns, including mental health support for adults diagnosed with mild to moderate acquired traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Holly’s vision in therapy is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to share their stories and work towards a more fulfilling life. She focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship and utilizing a collaborative approach where the client plays an active role in treatment and creating goals. She believes that each client is unique, and that treatment should be personalized to meet each client’s specific needs.  Holly utilizes an eclectic approach and has experience applying a variety of therapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy.

Holly values self-acceptance and empowering clients to actively work towards their long-term goals one step at a time. She reminds clients that everyone’s journey is different and their own when guiding them through the therapy process.
