Carolyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in the mental health field. She is currently working on becoming a Registered Play Therapist and has experience working with youth of all ages. Carolyn utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to best meet the unique needs of the client. She specializes in Child Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches. She works with children with behavioral concerns, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. Carolyn also works with children and families experiencing grief and loss through divorce and separation.

Carolyn believes in creating safe spaces, while focusing on client strengths grounded in trauma focused care. She knows the most important part of the therapeutic process is the relationship with the client. Carolyn believes in embracing all the things that make us unique.
