Jalon is a graduate student at Northwestern University completing his final year of studying Marriage and Family Therapy. Jalon provides support for clients looking to tend to their wellbeing in positive ways. Jalon creates a space for clients to feel supported and heard throughout their therapeutic journey. He believes in fostering a therapeutic alliance with each client while utilizing Integrative Family Systems and Narrative Therapy models.
As an MFT graduate intern he is training and treats a variety of issues such as race related trauma in families, marital problems, conflicts with identity for LGBTQIA+, and interpersonal relationship conflicts. Jalon has experience with crisis intervention and helps meet clients where they are emotionally while remaining respectful of their cultural practices.
Jalon practices under the supervision of Clinical Director Anna Anderson, LCPC.
