Rachel’s vision in therapy is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients of all backgrounds to work through life’s struggles. Rachel specializes in working with adults and older adults seeking to explore identity, manage difficult emotions, increase positive change, and to regain a sense of control in life. Rachel prefers to use an eclectic approach with clients, as she believes each individual is unique and responds differently to treatment. These approaches may include Art Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Rachel navigates these approaches through a trauma-informed lens.

Rachel values mutual empathy with her clients and the power of the therapeutic relationship. Rachel seeks to empower her clients in their endeavors while placing curiosity, creativity, autonomy, and inclusivity at the forefront. Rachel believes we all have our own unique stories, and we all deserve to be heard and supported.
