Danika specializes in postpartum mental health, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual assault recovery, and trauma or PTSD. Danika additionally enjoys working with partners of first responders. One of Danika’s priorities is to make therapy feel good for people; a relaxed space where you can feel like an equal. She strives to ensure each client feels seen and understood in working together.

Danika uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as the foundation for her therapeutic approach. Using these techniques, her specialty is helping those who have experienced truly difficult seasons in life find three main things: self-awareness, balance, and peace.

In her work with clients, Danika focuses on getting to know an individual’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She works collaboratively with clients to identify where the problem spots are, and in creating strategies to feel more balanced in day-to-day life. Danika also supports clients in exploring memories and experiences, and in understanding how these affect the present. Ultimately, working to help each client find peace with the past, contentment with the present and enthusiasm for the future.
