Tori is a graduate student through the University of Phoenix’s online counseling program. She is in the final stage of her counseling education journey, completing her practicum and internship.
Tori believes the purpose of counseling is to help people find balance and stability in their life before, during, and after stressful situations. Finding new coping skills through creative and intuitive thinking is one of her many strengths. She is highly empathetic and has an understanding of how to help best support clients through a wide range of mental health struggles.
Tori takes a behavioral approach to counseling and knows that one’s thoughts, actions, and feelings are influenced by one another. She believes that making changes to daily habits leads to forward movement and healthier outcomes.
Tori understands that every client has unique needs and is adaptable to each individuals’ needs. Among her specialties are working with adolescents and young adults who are in the transition from being a teenager to adulthood and helping those struggling with ADHD and mood disorders.
Tori practices under the supervision of Clinical Director Ashlynn Pinney, LCPC.
