Tiffany Meek, Intern
Tiffany uses an integrated therapeutic approach utilizing a range of Client-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. Tiffany encourages clients to be active in the therapy and treatment planning process. Tiffany wants to support her clients as they reach their goals. She strives to help clients recognize their strengths, challenge themselves, and to feel empowered. Tiffany has a passion for working with children. She finds that there is something remarkable about the strength and passion of a child and enjoys the opportunity to help children grow and succeed.
Tiffany is an intern currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of the Cumberlands. Prior to working with Counselors Associates Ltd she worked in community mental health, primarily with children ages 5-14 who were in the foster or adoption process. Tiffany also has experience working with probation and redeploy programs in Illinois helping those battling substance use to find and utilize resources and supports in their community.
