Stephanie works with children, adolescents, and young adults. She has eleven years of experience working in a school setting as a school counselor prior to transitioning to the private sector. Stephanie is passionate about creating a safe space for clients to identify, process and express their feelings. Stephanie believes that all clients can break down barriers, learn healthy coping skills, meet their personal goals, and achieve a sense of happiness and peace. Stephanie loves working with the unconventional learner to help them find their path. She has experience in helping children and adolescents find strategies to focus and regulate emotions so they can be successful in the school setting.
Stephanie utilizes an integrative approach during her counseling sessions depending on the individual and unique needs of the client. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused techniques. She keeps the sessions fun and hands-on by engaging the clients in art, journaling, mindfulness and play activities.
