Elizabeth Wooten, MA

Clayton Office

Liz uses an integrated therapeutic approach utilizing a range of Client-Centered, Emotion-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. Liz works collaboratively with clients to assist them in processing their emotions and what is contributing to those emotions. She believes that in therapy the client and therapist are a team and aims to provide a safe, trusting, and honest space for clients to explore any concerns they have. With younger clients, Liz uses play and art activities to help clients express themselves. Her clients can expect an individualized approach that challenges the individual to identify their strengths and to step outside of their comfort zones to meet their goals.
