Elizabeth uses an integrated therapeutic approach utilizing a range of Client-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. She also encourages clients to be an active part of planning their therapeutic goals and treatment. She believes that in therapy the client and therapist are a team and aims to provide a safe, trusting, and honest space for clients to explore any concerns they have. Her clients can expect an individualized approach, challenges to identify their strengths, and to step outside of their comfort zones to meet their goals. Liz enjoys working with all ages and assisting clients to feel more empowered in their daily lives.
Elizabeth is an intern currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at Webster University. Prior to working with Counselors Associates Ltd. Elizabeth has worked in community mental health as well as with adults and children with ASD.
