Elizabeth Marx, MA, LMFT
In therapy with Elizabeth, she creates a space where her clients feel accepted and safe to express themselves. She works with clients to help empower them in their lives, to promote healthy relationships and to build resiliency to all of life’s changes. She ultimately works collaboratively with her clients to help them develop insight to reach their goals. It is important to Elizabeth that her relationship with her clients is built upon trust and that what is important to them is the focus of their time in therapy.
Elizabeth utilizes an Emotion-Focused approach in order to help clients achieve a deep level of emotional processing. Along with this approach, Elizabeth utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, Family Systems model, and Client-Centered therapy. Elizabeth has experience working with children, adolescents and adults.
