Elizabeth has 35 years of experience in counseling, the past eight of which have been in private practice. She also has experience in child welfare, in-home, government, criminal justice, mental health clinic, and hospital settings.
She is committed to creating a safe, caring, empathic, as well as a judgment and condemnation-free environment while encouraging her clients to explore the issues in their life that interfere with having a satisfying, rewarding, meaningful, and purposeful life.
She uses an eclectic and creative approach of client-centered, interpersonal relationship counseling including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Elizabeth believes that all people possess the strength and ability to change their lives and to succeed in reaching their short and long-term life goals by resolving the issues that are interfering with their success.
