Cassadi is a current student at Southern Illinois university Edwardsville in a master’s program for clinical child and school psychology. She is approaching her final year of school and is excited to continue her learning experience with Counselor’s Associates Ltd. Cassadi has experience working in an attention and behavior clinic that provides comprehensive assessments for autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. Cassadi also has led group therapy and assisted providing dialectical behavioral therapy sessions for adolescents with problematic behaviors. She has a passion for counseling children and adolescents but is interested in the therapy experience for people of all ages. Cassadi’s vision in therapy considers the whole-person understanding that one’s social, emotional, psychological, and physical health all contribute to their wellbeing. She values active listening and making all clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable. Cassadi hopes to learn more about counseling techniques while actively advocating for mental health services and empowering clients along the way.
