Brandy Smith, MA, LPC
Brandy is an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means she implements a variety of orientations and therapies based on her clients’ individual needs. The majority of her cases involve practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and she is passionate about helping others achieve their goals while they strive to become happier and healthier. She is known for her warm, relaxed and comfortable approach to counseling.
Brandy works with high school and college age students as they navigate their personal growth and peer relationships throughout adolescence and young adulthood. She has extensive experience helping adolescents face the pressures and challenges at school, especially those that affect performance. She has taught and counseled K-12 students in several school districts in Illinois and Missouri. As a result of this experience, Brandy can share specific techniques with parents to help their children thrive. She is skilled at developing solutions for a wide array of emotional and behavioral concerns.
Brandy also counsels women dealing with difficult and significant life-changing situations. She helps them identify personal strengths, develop character-building skills, find purpose in their lives and to value their self-worth. Brandy creates an environment for her clients that is genuine, caring, supportive and non-judgmental. She truly enjoys developing clear goals through collaboration, and she enjoys helping others with emotional growth and self-empowerment.
